Hideaway Lake boasts four different parks and
a swimming pool for the leisure enjoyment of residents
of all ages.
Funtier Park ,
the largest, includes a playground area, pavilions
for large social gatherings, a covered basketball
court, four tennis courts, a youth ball field,
and a Community Building that is perfect for group
meetings, parties, or family reunions.
Pineview Park offers
playground equipment, a basketball court, two tennis
courts, and a golf practice area.
Andy Waters Park ,
located on the shoreline of the Middle Lake , includes
a boat ramp, fishing areas, and picnic facilities.
Bruce Park is a neighborhood
park with playground equipment, picnic tables,
and a playing field.
One of Hideaway's most popular locations for residents
of all ages in the warmer months is its junior
Olympic swimming pool, including a
diving board.
Lifeguards are provided, and a refreshment stand
is located adjacent to the pool. The is also a new Pool Pavillion and expanded sun deck that was constructed in late 2007 and early 2008.
Multiple aquatic exercise classes also utilize
the pool during morning hours.
